We are happy being at ASMSM. The teachers are caring and dedicated; the staff are attentive and understanding; the leadership is strong and effective; and the parents are active and engaged. What I love most about our school is that it's K-8 and it's a tight knit community. There is a good variety of after school enrichment programs including violin, robotics, cooking, etc. Our son enjoys going to school every day and has made great friends. ASMSM was the best choice for us!

There are great resource teachers here! We loved the art teacher and a few other teachers are wonderful. However, this school is horrible, there is a 4th grade teacher here “Mac” who is literally awful. She Will tell the entire class your kids on medication for anxiety, talk down to them, yell constantly, degrade the kids, and just can’t emotionally regulate herself. I ended up pulling my child from her class mid way due to her giving him so much anxiety. We had so many situations at this school and multiple times kids weren’t held accountable. My kindergartener had a kid put his hands down her pants, try to touch her, pushed her down on the playground and try to kiss her. Nothing ever happened and my 5 year old had to deal with it on her own. This may be considered the better school in Hampton, but if you can you need to keep your kids out of this school. They will be exposed to so much here.

My experience with this school is one I wasn’t expecting and it’s my first experience with my child being in school. It’s hard to tell if the staff cares more about how they look or if they actually care for my child. Regardless, I feel EXTREMELY judged by both the principal and my child’s teacher. I have rational reasons for this and multiple instances where comments were made to me judging my family or the way I handle my child. I am so uncomfortable anytime I’m at this school and often avoid interactions with the staff. It’s disheartening as I want my child to have a great experience with school.

Chambers Prairie is truly a gem in the educational landscape. From the moment you step onto campus, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff and faculty go above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where students feel valued and supported. Academically, the school excels, providing rigorous curriculum alongside personalized attention to ensure every student reaches their full potential. Beyond academics, Chambers Prairie fosters a strong sense of community, with numerous activities and events that bring students, families, and staff together. I cannot recommend Chambers Prairie highly enough for anyone seeking a school where excellence, care, and community thrive.

Our child started attending West Sound Academy in 6th grade and is now getting ready to transition into the upper school/high school. Choosing WSA has been one of the best decisions we've made. The small class sizes and personalized attention from the dedicated teachers has truly made a difference in our child's education. I have watched my child grow, with support and love from their teachers, into a more confident and well-rounded person who has developed critical thinking skills and a global perspective. WSA's emphasis on inquiry-based learning and international mindedness has enriched my child's understanding of the world and fostered their love for learning. We are impressed by the inclusive community at WSA, which has created a supportive and welcoming environment for my child to thrive. I highly recommend this school to any parent seeking a high quality education that prepares students for success in a global society.

I have had 2 kids go through this school and have loved the teachers, the administrative staff, additional programs they offer, and the focus on kindness! I think at any school you have kids that are excited about learning and others who struggle and therefore don’t necessarily want to learn, but the encouragement and support for each individual learner is amazing! There is a feeling of community and belonging!

St. John Berchman's has been phenomenal. Our 3-year-old had been in daycare but we felt he had outgrown the classroom physically and in terms of learning and development. The Pre-K program has been phenomenal. Within the first few weeks we noticed our child becoming more mature and his excitement for learning increasing. He benefits from the classroom structure and he loves his friends and classmates. Overall "SJB" has been a fantastic experience for our family.

Dayspring has been a great fit for my family. The teachers demonstrate genuine care for the students and they create so many opportunities for hands-on learning. We have loved all of the new events, excellent communication, and opportunities to get involved this year. The academic and emotional support available are impressive for a Christian school and reflects the heart they have for students. I would recommend Dayspring without hesitation!

Our family's experience at St. Paul's Lutheran School in San Diego has been nothing less than exceptional. Having three kids enrolled here feels like we're witnessing the magic of a nurturing environment and top-notch education every single day. When we first arrived, St. Paul's was like a shining light in our journey, offering hope and support as we settled into our new life in San Diego, especially as our kids didn't speak English initially. The teachers went above and beyond, not just educating but genuinely caring for our children's well-being. The small class sizes foster an intimate learning environment where each child receives personalized attention. What truly sets St. Paul's apart is the strong sense of family within the school community. It's more than just a place of education; it's a home away from home where our children thrive both academically and emotionally. And I love the Christian education. It's just fantastic! Faith isn't just a subject here; it's woven into the very fabric of daily life, nurturing our children to not only learn but also flourish in their spiritual journey. St. Paul's isn't just a school; it's a big, loving family, and we're so grateful to be a part of it.

I absolutely love Hillside elementary. My son is in the pre-k and as this is his first experience in any kind of formal learning environment. It took a few weeks for him to adjust and be comfortable, but the teachers and the paraprofessionals (teacher’s assistant) are so wonderful and patient as well as supportive for both students and parents. My son has learned on par for his age and has gained some wonderful friendships. The school has many social engagements and ways for parents to be involved which has also created a wonderful opportunity for friendships amongst the parents within the community. The diversity is exactly what we wanted to expose our kids to and really helps promote inclusion of all cultures. Next year, our youngest will join his brother at Hillside and start pre-k and looking forward to another wonderful year with these amazing teachers, faculty, and staff. Keep up the great work!!
